As the Program Coordinator for the College Success Program, Diana supports first-generation college students as they navigate higher education by connecting them with resources, fostering a sense of belonging, and empowering them to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Prior to this role, she served as an Academic Advisor at San José State University, where she supported students in achieving academic success and accessing campus resources. Her passion for student support began as a Resident Advisor, where she led the Social Justice and Inclusion Community. Through this experience, she discovered the importance of creating inclusive spaces and helping students build meaningful connections on campus.

A proud first-generation college graduate, Diana earned a Bachelor’s in Sociology and Ethnic Studies, with a minor in Political Science, from Sac State, and a Master’s in Higher Education Leadership from San José State University. Diana is committed to advancing equity in higher education and helping students thrive through holistic support and community.
