As College and Career Preparation Program Coordinator, Angela brings her passion for education equity and community empowerment to the Latino Education Advancement Foundation (LEAF). A proud first-generation college graduate from Santa Clara University, she earned degrees in Political Science and Spanish Studies, along with a minor in Urban Education.
Her experience includes volunteering in local schools and serving as a research assistant at the University of California, Berkeley’s Possibility Lab. There, she contributed to the Firsthand Framework for Policy Innovation, including a collaboration with Training Occupational Development Educating Communities (TODEC) to develop Firsthand Indicators of health with Latino workers in the Inland Empire.
At LEAF, Angela is dedicated to supporting high school students and families, drawing from her East San José roots to empower the next generation of scholars and leaders.
